Privacy Policy

Morpheus Dreams ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Morpheus Dreams mobile app (the "App") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

• When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and, if available, your profile picture. We never see or store your password.

1.2 Dreams and the answers you give

• The dream description you write or dictate.
• Optional answers that personalize the interpretation: your gender, your age (calculated on your device from the birth date you pick; only an age range such as "25-34" is used for the interpretation and stored with your dream), the names of people who appeared in your dream, and the interpretation style and picture style you choose.
• The interpretations and images generated for you. Generated results are kept for 7 days unless you save them to your dream history; saved dreams are kept until you delete them or your account.
• Content you choose to report as offensive or inaccurate, together with the reason and any note you add.

1.3 Coffee cup photos

• If you use the coffee cup reading, the App sends the photos you take or choose of your cup and saucer (resized to a small image), the topic you pick and your optional wish or question to our servers.
• The photos are checked for prohibited content and passed to OpenAI to write the reading. We do not store your photos: they are discarded as soon as the reading is done. Only the reading itself (and your wish or question, if you wrote one) is kept, in the same way as an interpretation (see 1.2).
• Please only photograph your cup; do not include people or personal documents in the photos.

1.4 Voice input

• If you use the microphone button to describe your dream, your speech is converted to text by your device's speech recognition service (Google on Android, Apple on iOS), which may process the audio on their servers. We only receive the resulting text. We do not record or store your voice.

1.5 Purchases and rewards

• When you buy dream credits, Google Play or the App Store processes the payment. We receive a purchase confirmation (product, transaction ID and status), never your payment card details.
• Your credit balance, how many reward videos you watched, and what you used them for.

1.6 Advertising data

• The App shows optional rewarded videos from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud. Where required by law (for example in the EU and UK), we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options. On iOS, ads are only personalized if you allow tracking.

1.7 Device information

• Device type, operating system, app version and language, used to run the App and fix problems. Dream reminders are scheduled locally on your device; we do not use push notification tokens.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service: sign you in, interpret your dreams, read your coffee cup, generate images, keep your dream history and credit balance, and process purchases and video rewards.
• Safety: to check dream descriptions and coffee cup photos for prohibited content, review reported content, and prevent fraud and abuse (for example, fake purchases or rewards).
• Settings: to remember your language, picture style and reminder preferences.
• Support: to answer your questions and resolve problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your dreams for advertising.

3. Service Providers We Share Data With

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions): stores your account, dreams, images and credit balance.
• OpenAI: receives your dream description and your optional answers (age range, gender, names) to write the interpretation and create images, and your coffee cup photos, topic and wish to write a coffee reading. OpenAI does not use data sent through its API to train its models and may keep it for a limited time (up to 30 days) to detect abuse.
• Google AdMob: shows rewarded videos (see 1.6).
• Google Play / Apple App Store: process purchases.
• Google / Apple speech recognition: converts dictated speech to text (see 1.4).
• Google / Apple Sign-In: sign you in.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored with Google Firebase on servers in the European Union and the United States, and is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Your dreams and images are only accessible to your signed-in account. Credit balances and purchases can only be changed by our servers.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and delete: view your saved dreams in the App, delete any dream, or delete your whole account (see section 6).
• Advertising: rewarded videos are always optional; change your ad consent in Settings → Privacy options.
• Camera, photos, microphone and notifications: you can deny or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
• Other requests: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or object to the processing of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the App: Profile → Delete account. You can also request deletion without the App — see morpheus-dreams.com/delete-account.html.

Deleting your account permanently removes your account, all dreams, images and generated results, your credit balance and remaining credits, and your preferences. To prevent fraud and meet accounting obligations, we keep anonymized purchase transaction records that are no longer linked to you.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, let you know in the App.
